Monty Starks

Monty Starks was born in Washington D.C on April 28, 1971. The oldest out of two children, he attended Concord Elementary, Francisco Scott Key Middle School and Suitland High School. After high school, he joined the United States Marine Corps, serving his time at Marine Corps Naval Air Station North Island in San Diego, CA. Camp Pendleton, CA. and Mare Island in Vallejo, CA. Mr. Starks attended California State University Fullerton and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Ethnic Studies. He is employed with MAXIMUS partner of Orange County Social Service Agency assisting individuals on CalWORKs become self sufficient in Orange County. Mr. Starks is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Phi Alpha Theta History Honor’s Society and African Culture Art Counsel with the Bowers Museum. Mr. Starks currently resides in Laguna Niguel, California. 

He has dedicated himself in helping those with Sickle Cell Disease to live a better quality of life through his support services within the foundation.
