A devoted mother to two adults living with sickle cell disease and married for 39 years, Star’s leadership is fueled by love, resilience, and lived experience. As President and Founder of the Sickle Cell Foundation of Orange County, she is a driving force for equity, awareness, and support for families impacted by sickle cell disease.
