Starlerra ("Star") Simmons is a lifelong resident and business owner of Orange County, whose roots resides deep in Orange County. Star is an entrepreneur in her own right, which consistently puts her "in the trenches" and arenas that most would circumvent, in both her professional and private life. Charon Simmons is an extraordinary young man who has beaten the odds-not once, but twice in his life. No battle was more important, however, than the life-threatening shut down his body endured September 2011. Charon has taken his challenges of sickle cell disease and choose to use them as a power tool to help others. At the age of 26 years old, Charon has received an Bachelors in Science of Criminal Justice, he is a Licensed Sickle Cell Disease Educator, and he is currently pursuing his Master's Degree in Forensic Pyschology. He has chosen to give back his challenges, accommplishments, and knowledge to help others living with sickle cell disease. (READ MORE AND REQUEST SPEAKER)

Alyssa is an amazing young lady and she is no stranger to giving back to others. As a sickle cell patient, Alyssa has dedicated her youth to helping others. Throughout her years of advocating to eradicate ableism and create an environment which all are created equal regardless of their race, gender, social, or economical background; she is determined to be the catalyst for change.  (READ MORE AND REQUEST SPEAKER)
